Katie Fowler, CTSC, M.E.
Katie Fowler is Founder of the Unchained Value Co, that specializes in transformational change management, supporting cultural, process and digital revolutions. Their goal is to use bespoke programs that drive value, agility, and impact across companies’ “Triple Bottom Line”: People, Profit, and Planet.
Former leadership roles include Vice President Supply Chain, Head of Sales and Operations Planning, Supply Chain Operations Systems Deployment Leader. Before that, she was the Head of Integrated Business Planning at Signify, a leader in connected LED lighting systems based in the Netherlands. In this role, she was continually improving, streamlining, and innovating her company’s sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, and managing the implementation of SAP integrated business planning.
Katie believes transformation is more than meets the eye; she specializes in leading complex transformations, with a focus on cultural change management. Katie built her experience working at Dell Computers, GE and Fortive while obtaining her MEng from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Supply chain management where she then took her expertise to SLB and Signify. Born in East Tennessee, her career has led her across the US, the Middle East, Northern Europe and back to Houston where she founded her company Unchained Value.
With over 15 years of experience in logistics, transformation, international operations and supply chain Katie brings a deep understanding of what it takes to make businesses successful and agile. This includes experience as a:
- Planner and Buyer,
- Master Scheduler,
- Materials manager,
- Global Supply Chain Transformation Manager, and
- Vice President of Supply Chain.
In addition, she has served as Director and Treasurer of the ASCM/APICS Supply Chain Council, and as a member of the ASCM/APICS Research and Innovation in Supply Chain team.
Katie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and International Business from the University of Tennessee, and a Master of Engineering in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Katie also has certificates in diving (Advanced Open Water Diver-PADI, NITROX Diver-NAUI, and Open Water Diver-PADI).
