Vladimir is a Purchasing Analyst for WIN Waste Innovations, in their waste-to-energy division, supporting one of their steam power plants in North Andover.
A first-generation immigrant and first-generation college graduate from Ukraine, Vladimir has always had an interest in business, and an aptitude for problem-solving and working with numbers. He received his BS in Business Administration from University of Massachusetts Lowell, with dual concentrations in Management and Supply Chain & Operations Management, as well as a minor in Economics. He was also the President of the Operations and Information Systems club (formerly an APICS chapter), for which he received a certificate of achievement from the Manning School of Business in his final semester there.
Vladimir continued his supply chain education post-graduation, achieving the CPIM certification in 2020, and the CSCP certification in 2022. Most recently he has been focused on learning more about data analysis and the expanding role of AI in business, by getting the IBM Data Analyst and Microsoft Power BI Analyst certificates in 2025.
Vladimir has 10 years of supply chain experience overall, with the majority of his career working specifically in purchasing. He has a strong interest in both supply chain and data analysis, as well as figuring out ways to marry the two by using tools like AI prompting, Python programming, and software like Power BI to gather and analyze data, turning it into actionable insights that enable companies to make smarter and better informed decisions.
