Nicholas M. Testa Jr, MBA, CFPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CIRM, Jonah

Nicholas M. Testa Jr. is an independent consultant and educator in areas of Supply Chain and Operations Management.  His accomplishments include Vice President of Operations, Vice President and Business Unit Manager of several industrial and consulting firms.  He also was CEO of Acuity Consulting, Inc. for 10 years.

Nick’s recent projects include:

• Evaluating and redesigning the supply chain planning process for an aerospace firm
• Evaluating planning and system integration for a major agribusiness
• Warehousing planning, design, system improvements, coaching, and SIOP development for a large winery and bottling plant

Nick has provided training and implementation in: Lean, TOC, and Supply Chain for multiple industries including Heavy Industry, Aerospace, Prison Industries and Major Administrative Departments of universities.  He has led improvement projects in the tool fabrication processes as well.  For one particular Boeing supplier, a process redesign saved about 13% for all machinists on staff.  Clients ranged from multibillion-dollar global firms to privately held local enterprises with products ranging from medical devices and food to metal fabrication and artwork.  Nick is an implementer, integrator, and trainer of tools for:

Nick served on the APICS/ASCM Corporate Board of Directors for 8 years, and as Chairman of APICS/ASCM in 2006, and in a wide variety of international, national, and local positions, including as chair of the APICS Annual International Conference, and Voice of the Customer Committee.  He is a Published author in engineering and business and internationally known speaker.  He has taught at the college and graduate level for California State University Fullerton, Chapman University, Brandman University, other post-secondary intuitions, ASCM, and APICS Orange County Chapter, and other APICS chapters.
