This includes holding a leadership position in at least one association (i.e., APICS, CSCMP, ISM, NERT, NSMG, PMAB, etc.) and being recognized for extended and meritorious volunteer service. An ideal candidate is someone who has unselfishly given back to the profession.<\/li>\n<li>Committing to and ardently supporting lifelong learning, ongoing training, education, and improvement within the Supply Chain profession, as well as being a good mentor and teacher to new practitioners.<\/li>\n<li>Exhibiting All Star qualities.\u00a0 Someone who has developed and led multiple total-cost-cutting and economic efficiency initiatives within employer and other organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Consistently exhibiting strong leadership qualities; being an all-around innovative and creative thinker; and demonstrating leadership vision in a positive and enthusiastic manner.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrating the willingness to change and adapt to the latest Supply Chain landscape, as well as introducing practitioners to new ways of thinking, and challenging\/influencing them to be champions of the latest philosophies, processes, and best practices of the profession.<\/li>\n<li>Possessing an untiring, can-do attitude.\u00a0 Ensuring efforts are proactive not reactive, and refusing to take no or it cant be done for an answer!<\/li>\n<li>Serving as a role model for others the highest caliber of Supply Chain professional, with a reputation for having an unwavering sense of integrity and ethics with all transactions and dealings.<\/li>\n<li>Breaking down the barriers and silos among Supply Chain and other functional groups; promoting a more cross-functional, integrated working relationship and engaging all stakeholders within organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>2018 Winner<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newenglandsupplychainconference.org\/wp2016\/wp-content\/uploads\/b_arntzen.jpg\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1808 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.newenglandsupplychainconference.org\/wp2016\/wp-content\/uploads\/b_arntzen.jpg\" alt=\"Bruce C.
