Foad Mahdavi Pajouh is an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to joining UMass Boston, Dr. Pajouh worked as a research assistant professor in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Florida. His areas of study are Theoretical, Computational and Algorithmic Optimization; Big Data Analytics of Complex Networks with Applications in Business Analytics; Social Network Analysis; Financial Network Analysis and Energy Management. He is the recent recipient of the Robert W. D’Alelio Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research, College of Management, University of Massachusetts Boston, May 2018. Citation: “This award is to support research and professional development of College of Management faculty and the use of innovative tools and techniques.”
Dr. Pajouh’s Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management is from Oklahoma State University, 2012, his M.S. is in Industrial Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran and his B.S. is in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran.
