Shari Ruelas

Shari RuelasShari Ruelas is a 30-year veteran in the chemicals and oil and gas industries and has worked in nearly every aspect of the value chain. Her current role is the General Manager of Commercial Products at Chevron, responsible for fuel sales to commercial and industrial customers and airlines in the US and Latin America.

Ruelas has served in a number of roles for ASCM, most recently as the Secretary/Treasurer of the ASCM Board of Directors.  She also served as the president of the APICS Supply Chain Council Board of Directors.

She currently sits on the University of Nebraska Supply Chain Advisory Board, and she was a recipient of the STEP Ahead – Women in Manufacturing Award from the Manufacturing Institute for her accomplishments in supply chain.

Ruelas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master’s in Business Analytics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from the University of Houston.

Additionally, she holds the following ASCM certifications:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP),
  • Certified Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) and
  • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD).
